Southern Star Announces Non-Binding Open Season for the Canadian Blackwell Expansion Project

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc. is pleased to announce the commencement of its Non-Binding Open Season for additional firm transportation capacity originating in western Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle. "Southern Star is geographically positioned to easily add incremental gas supply from the developing Granite Wash area in western Oklahoma and Texas. The Canadian Blackwell Expansion project will ultimately provide increased supply diversity for our customers and their markets at a competitive rate," said Philip Rullman, Vice President & Chief Commercial Services Officer.

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc. Announces Elk City Storage Expansion Operational

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc. announced today that its Elk City Firm Storage Expansion became operational April 1, 2011. This expansion increased Southern Star's daily deliverability by 40,000 decatherms per day and increased its storage capacity by 4,000,000 decatherms. The expanded capacity and deliverability are fully subscribed.

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc. (Southern Star) announces today the expansion of its Firm Storage Service and Firm Transportation Service. Southern Star has received numerous requests over the years for new storage service due to the fully-subscribed status of its existing firm storage service. Southern Star had a successful open season earlier this year to expand its existing storage capacity by 4,000,000 Dth, with an increase in daily deliverability of 40,000 Dth/d. On October 9, Southern Star filed with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for authorization to build the facilities necessary for this storage expansion at its Elk City Gas Storage Field near Independence, Kansas. more>>

Binding Open Season for the Perry Delivery Project

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline, Inc. (Southern Star) announced today that it will extend the Binding Open Season for the Perry Delivery Project. Southern Star is extending the Open Season at shippers’ request to allow interested parties additional time to evaluate the project. Southern Star is developing a new interstate natural gas delivery project that will provide incremental deliveries of up to 100,000 Dth/d to Enogex, Inc. (Enogex), into their East Rate Zone near their Perry Compressor Station in Noble County, Oklahoma. more>>
